Part of Volkswagen's expansion into the all-electric market, the ID.7 holds a premium interior and an impressive infotainment system. To find out more, check out our Volkswagen ID.7 review in full!
The sophisticated ID.7 is a flagship electric saloon from Volkswagen that features a class-leading range and ultra-aerodynamic design.
The ID.7 sits in VW’s range of saloons above the Arteon. It also shares an electric platform with the VW ID.5 SUV.
And the ID.7 is a car that’s very much at the ‘executive’ end of the leasing spectrum, providing healthy competition for the Tesla Model 3, BMW i4, and the Hyundai Ioniq 6.
Read moreThe regular ID.7 is offered with a 82 kWh battery that unlocks power of up to 286 PS and a range of up to 437 miles between charges. That range figure is impressive, particularly when you consider the Tesla Model 3 ‘Long Range’ can travel a lesser distance of up to 374 miles. Rapid fast-charging speeds of up to 200 kW should mean you never have to wait long to see the battery replenish.
A more powerful, all-wheel drive ID.7 GTX joined the line-up in 2024, offering power of 340 PS, a range of up to 366 miles, and the ability to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 5.4 seconds.
Meanwhile the VW ID.7 is also one of the most intelligent electric saloons available to lease.
It’s equipped with semi-autonomous driving tech, including the VW Travel Assist system, which can support assisted lane changing on multi-lane motorways at speeds. The VW ID.7 also has self-parking capabilities.
Lease customers can expect a 15 inch infotainment screen, an augmented reality head-up display, massage seats, and an optional ‘smart’ panoramic sunroof which can be switched from opaque to transparent at the touch of a button.
And because the ID.7 is a ‘fastback’ saloon, the hatchback-style boot is both practical and spacious, measuring 532 litres.
As VW says, the ID.7 ‘redefines the performance of electric mobility’.

In simple terms, leasing is the single most cost-effective and hassle free method of driving a brand-new car, and with Select Car Leasing you can be sure that you are in safe hands.
I had a great experience and good customer service from Garry Rahman, from the moment I enquired for a car quotation to delivery. He is professional, respectful and answered all my questions very patiently. There was no pressure to take a decision in haste which I really liked. He explained all my options clearly and made the entire car buying experience smooth and hassle free. I definitely recommend Garry to anyone who is looking to buy a car. Thank you Garry.
Efficient and professional team
This is the third lease company I’ve used, but in terms of the ordering process, the communication, the documentation and the speed of delivery I would have to place Select first for customer service. I also secured a great price (for a Hyundai Tucson) as well as having the flexibility of not needing to pay a deposit, which made the deal very attractive. However, I’m fully aware that you can’t truly judge a car leasing company until the end of the contract when the car is being returned, as that is what genuinely separates one leasing company from another. On that basis, my rating is based on the relationship to date. The delivery of the car itself was one area where I have experienced a superior service from another lease company. The company in question would deliver their cars on a transporter so the cars were delivered to my house in immaculate condition with something like 20 miles on the clock. The car I received a few days ago was driven about 100 miles to my home, on a rainy day in December, so it was handed over to me dirty. A relatively minor point.
